Therapeutic Class: Antibiotic
Composition: Each ml contains Oxytetracycline as HCl (B.P) …. 200mg
Indications: Terafar LA Injectable Solution is used for the treatment of respiratory and urinary tract infections and also for the treatment of secondary bacterial infections of viral diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease. It is also used for pasteurellosis, joint and umbilical cord infections, foot infections and additionally for protection from transportation stress in target species.
Dosage & Administration:
Pharmacological Dose: In cattle, camels, sheep, goats: It is administered via intramuscular route at a dose of 20 mg / kg bodyweight in cattle, camels, sheep, goats.
Practical dose: 1 ml / 10 kg bodyweight for cattle, camels, sheep, goats.
Presentation: 100ml vial
Precautions: It should be applied by intramuscular route only.
Withdrawal time:
Meat: 30 days.
Milk: 14 day.
