Indications: MELOFAR Injectable is used to obtain analgesic, antipyretic and anti-rheumatic effects in horses, unweaned calves, weaned calves, cattle, sheep, goats, cats and dogs. In cattle, it is used to reduce the clinical symptoms in the acute respiratory tract infections, in addition to the antibiotic treatments. For the cases of diarrhea in cattle, which are not in lactation period, young cattle and one-week old calves, it may be combined with oral dehydration treatment to reduce the clinical symptoms. It may be applied as an addition to the antibiotic treatments for the therapy of acute mastitis. It is also used in the inflammations of tendo and tendo -sheath , acute and chronic joint diseases and rheumatic diseases.
In horses, it is used to reduce the inflammation and to eliminate the pain in the acute and chronic musculoskeletal diseases. In equine colic, it may be used along with other medications in order to obtain pain relief. In dogs, it is used for the painful conditions caused by osteoarthritis and it reduces the post-operative pain and inflammation following orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Also it is used to reduce the pain and inflammation in the acute and chronic musculoskeletal system diseases. In cats, it is used to reduce the post-operative pains following ovariohysterectomies and soft tissue surgeries. In sheep and goats, it is used for non-infectious locomotor disorders to reduce the symptoms of lameness and inflammation.

Dosage &Administration:
Large animals: 7ml per 100kg b.w
Small animals: 5ml per 100kg b.w
Single dose S.C or I.M or as directed by the veterinarian. Dosage may be repeated after 24 hours if required.

Precautions: Withdrawal time for meat is 15 days and for milk is 5 days.
